the 2nd week of Scarby bloomed in fantasty faire weather... sunny, but not Texas too hot ... just right weather for wench hugging... if you missed it... there are six more weeks... come see us soon... I can be found at the front gate greetng guests or at my daily shows on the White horse pub stage... at 2 pm and 3:30 pm

Openning weekend at Scarby saw great weather.... great crowds and a great start to the 2008 faire season....
It also brought some sad news, of the passing of long term Scarby Patron, Tom Bitter...
Tom's Widow, Mary, gifted Tom's Dramatic long Sword to Sholo the Nubian, in Tom's memory.. to which Sholo openned his first show with a tribute to Tom...
"Tom will continue to enjoy the faire vicariously through his Sword", those close to him were heard to say...
